Yesterday was one of those odd days I need to record just to laugh about it in 20 years.
I had emergency after hours work I needed to get done. However, said emergency work was stalled due to my mega corporation locking the parts for their super expensive mission critical server in the mail room, which closes at 5 and no operations person can access.
In a moment of honesty of 4 year olds, my niece who was looking at my 2 very beautiful little guys, then me, declared that compared to them, I was kinda ugly.
I learned one of my coworkers had a parasite, and left the U.S. to get it treated.. in China. Said coworker left in June, and has yet to return.
My management asked us to apply for other positions within our company last week.. No reasons given. Then yesterday AM declared we weren't going to have the layoffs we didn't know about it, due to it being put off for the foreseeable future.
I'm curious to see what today will bring.
