I wonder if all this technology hurts or helps kids. I think for those far down the functionality spectrum, ipads and devices that enable faster communication are a boon. On the other end of the scale, though, part of me feels technology is enabling us to be lazier.
Now that computers and phones have morphed from simple tools to achieve small things to essentially controlling our lives, I think the age of great discussion and deep thinking has ended. Now we are all about tweets, instant messaging, and self aggrandizement.
